3. Target Audience

Target Audience

I am going to describe the age group for this advert which is 16+ because in the beginning of the advert its about people who work and when they're on their lunch break. To evaluate it doesn't have anything that will attract the younger audiences. For example in a happy meal advert they show cartoons in the beginning to attract the children however in this one it will be boring for them. Whereas the adults will be interested in it because they would understand the humour of it. The main people that would watch this are females because it has women in the advert that dress up and talk. The people that watch this advert would be the people who work. This advert is about what to eat after work or during a lunch break. This would interests people who are in the same situation as the ladies in the advert so they understand what they are feeling.

I am going to describe how this advert is targeted at people who are 12+ because its quite filling so I don't think people younger than that age group would be interested in that advert however I say 12+ because of the humour of the advert and catchy song people tend to remember it more. I think this is targeted at both genders because it includes both in the advert. For example it shows men working in the office then women. So it shows its for everyone. I think this attracts to the people who work in like offices. This would interest people who do work in offices like them and who do enjoy Cadbury chocolate.

To compare both adverts they are both fairly similar because it shows people who are at work in a high class job. They both have humour in it so it attracts the audience. However the main differences is the age its targeted at and the gender. In the first advert its age group is higher and the gender is mainly targeted at females whereas in the second advert its targeted from a younger age group and its targeted at both males and females.

In my opinion from looking at the campaign this will attract people who are from the age group 16 to 25 because it looks posh even though its from a fast food place also because people can have this during their lunch break. I feel like both male and female would be interested in this from looking at the layout of the poster people wouldn't expect it to be from McDonalds. I think the lifestyle people would have is full time working because this is the perfect lunch to eat.

I am going to describe how this campaign is targeted at younger people because of the way the campaign is presented. For example its like a cartoon poster so this will attract the younger generation. In my opinion I think this will also attract both genders because the colours used are not biased and the way its presented. This would interest people who are into cartoons and video games etc.. because its like animation. The lifestyle would be the people who are in school and take it as a snack.

In comparison I think both campaigns are completely different because of the layout. The first campaign is more targeted at older generation because of the way its displayed whereas the second one is targeted at younger generation. The way its presented has a huge impact on the audience because they will be able to tell who its targeted at.
