8. media choices

Media Choices



I am going to describe the choice of media of  McDonalds 2017 Chicken strip ad would be a television advertising. Initially the ad was distributed in the UK on television. Advertising in the UK would be effective because they will have a range of audiences and more viewers. One of the main advantages of advertising on TV is that there will be more people viewing the advert and will have a variety of  individuals with different backgrounds for example like the people in the advert at 0.04 seconds. From this advert McDonalds will assume that people will talk about it which will create awareness.




I am going to describe another choice of media of McDonalds chicken strips ad would be print advertising. Specifically on like billboards and posters. When the advert came out the print ad came out at the same time. This will attract more customers to their product. The advantage of selling it on a billboard is that people are more likely to see it because its so big it will engage the audience.

In my comparison, i am going to evaluate how both adverts portray the same media choices. Both of these campaigns advertisement will engage the audiences because they are both well known methods of advertisements.



I am going to describe the choice of media of Cadbury 2015 ad would be a television advertising. The advert was first aired in 2015 in the UK. The advert airing in the UK is more effective because everyone already knows about the Cadbury brand due to other products from this brand. One advantage of advertising on TV is that will have a range of audiences even the same people that know about this brand will be engaged because they know that they will be able to trust it.

I am going to describe another choice of media of Cadbury 2015 ad would be print advertising. To be more specific advertising on billboards and posters. The print ad came out at the same time as the TV ad. One advantage of advertising on billboards is that people will look at it because its so big it will automatically engage the audiences.

In my comparison, i am going to evaluate how both adverts present the same media choice. Just like the McDonalds campaign, The two campaigns will attract audiences because they use the same advertisement which is common.
