10. Legal and Ethical issues

Legal and ethical issues





The legal problem of this advert would be that they didn't say whats included with the food. For instance in the advert the voiceover says a description of the product however it also shows the sauce and other things that came with it but they didn't say if it comes with the product. The ethical issue with this advert would be that they encouraging children not to share. For example in the advert towards the end it shows that the lady with blonde hair didn't let the other lady try her food. With the legal issue it does not state anything else about the product other than a description of how it tastes.



The legal issue that this print advert could of been would be the presentation of this advert. It shows how the product is presented however when you actually order it comes in a box. This gives people false hopes. In my opinion I think there isn't any ethical issue because the poster doesn't have any problems to do with violence, offensive language and behaviour. 

I am going to evaluate how both ads overcome their own legal and ethical issues. The way that the TV advert shows the people are not sharing at the end however before that it shows them getting along with each other. 



The legal problem of this advert would be not addressing the ingredients inside the bar. people may be allergic to some things so if they include this the audience will know. The ethical issue is the behavior. The way they behave in a office encourages audience to behave like this in offices or schools. So it has a bad influence to the audience.

The legal issue that this print advert could of been would be performance rights and the ethical issue would be the way they displayed the chocolate on the poster.  The ethical issue could be managed by showing how the product really is so the audience don't get false hopes.


Both adverts overcome their own legal and ethical issues. The way that the TV advert shows their behaviour first but then they also show other people who are working hard. The print ad shows whats inside the chocolate so this will let people know what to expect.
